Phoebe is a dedicated professional who prides herself on creating a unique, community-focused experience that sets Fight Fit apart. With her extensive knowledge in sports nutrition, Phoebe is committed to enhancing your performance and recovery journey. When she's not in the gym, you'll find her practicing reformer Pilates or enjoying Keppel Island. Originally from Cairns, Phoebe brings a rich background in advertising and marketing, combined with a deep passion for health and fitness.

Coach Dan

Meet Dan, the dynamic Owner and Coach behind Vigor Performance & Coaching. At Fight Fit, Dan leads our weights-based and boxfit classes, drawing on his Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science to keep athletes strong, fit, and injury-free. With a proven track record that includes two boxing bouts with one TKO victory, Dan brings hands-on experience to his coaching. He currently runs the SWEAT classes and our high-intensity POWER sessions every Saturday.

For those seeking personal training, Dan is also available for 1-on-1 boxing or strength training sessions.

Coach Alex

We're thrilled to introduce Alex, joining us all the way from Auckland, NZ. With over 6 years in the industry, Alex boasts an impressive fight history featuring 14 boxing matches, including 5 professional bouts in NZ and Australia, as well as 4 kickboxing fights. Alex leads the FIGHT CLASS sessions on Tuesdays and our BOX class on Saturdays. For those seeking a more personalised approach, Alex is also available for 1-on-1 boxing personal training sessions.

Coach Joel

Meet Joel, our expert Muay Thai trainer for the afternoon FIGHT CLASS sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. With over 15 years of experience training and fighting in both Australia and Thailand, Joel brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He has trained multiple ISKA, WMO, and WMC state and national title holders and boasts over 6 years of judging experience. Joel's favorite techniques to teach include knees, elbows, and clinch, ensuring you get the most out of every session.

TRAINING OPTIONS

KIDS & TEENS
BOXING

Our classes give little boxers the best aspects of learning to box, focusing on non-contact drills, fitness and strength building exercises and working with partners.

​

The classes will get each individual skipping, running, jumping, punching bags, and working with a partner to improve hand-eye coordination, strength, and increase their core strength and overall fitness.

​

It’s also enormous fun and a matchless form of physical exercise. Joining our kids boxing sessions will introduce them to the sport in a safe and inspiring environment.

​

Our young boxers love the physical training as well as the social interaction. The classes are well structured but with a relaxed feel so there is always a lot of laughter and fun. Our coaches make sure every class has plenty of fitness and good boxing training.

 

Each session runs twice a week at 3.45pm, for girls and boys aged between 10-15 years. Please contact us for current fees which are required in full prior to term commencing.

FIGHT
CLASS

A training session for both novice and experienced fighters supervised by our experienced and qualified trainers.

 

For the novices, a boxing class typically includes a focus on the basic techniques and fundamentals of the sport. As you progress, you are introduced to more advanced drills and combinations to enhance your skills and coordination.

 

Experienced fighters, participate in a more challenging and intense workout. Focusing on refining techniques, increasing speed and power, and working on advanced defensive maneuvers. Overall, this boxing class caters to both beginners and seasoned althletes alike, focusing on skills, building strength, improving endurance, and achieving overall physical and mental fitness.

CARDIO BOX CLASSES

Meet our SWEAT class!

This session involves high intensity workouts, designed to increase your anaerobic capacity for a fitter, faster and more agile physique.

 

These classes provide you with boxing orientated workouts that incorporate a variety of exercises using bag work, boxing combinations, strength and conditioning equipment, skipping, and core movements.

 

A full body work out is involved to help increase your cardiovascular endurance whilst also obtaining boxing skills and self defense.
